NHRC probes on Sindhupalchowk Incident, 1 Aug. 2006
National Human Rights Commission has started investigation over the incident of a death of Tara Tamang, a resident of Tatopani VDC-4, Sindhupalchowk on July 30, 2006. She was dead as a result of gunfire by an Armed Policemen. In the course of investigation, a team of the Commission has departed to the incident place today.
Similarly, another team of the Commission has departed to Dhaging to monitor the state of the rights of Internally Displaced Persons in the district. The team will reach in various parts of the districts during the mission.
