One elderly woman going by the name Yamuna Khatiwada was killed when terrorists detonated an IED at Gauradaha Area in Jhapa District on September 1, 2005.
Similarly, the terrorists are learnt to have abducted 20 civilians from Barangi Area in Morang District on August 31, 2005; two teachers of a school at Pina Area in Mugu District on August 28, 2005 and 40 students from a Higher Secondary School at Liku Area, Dolpa District on August 27, 2005.
