Peace Keeping Force Leaves for Congo
The last team of the Fourth Contingent of the Naya Gorakh Battalion (Peace Keepers) left here for the Central African Nation of Congo (MONUC mission) for peacekeeping purposes at the call of the United Nations on August 7, 2005.
Major General Kul Bahadur Khadka at the Tribhuvan International Airport saw off the team.
The team led by Major Kishor Silwal has a total of 184 personnel including 8 Officers, 21 Padiks and 155 of other ranks.
