Maoist Atrocities
At least three children were seriously injured when the terrorists detonated a bomb at Viyeso area in Birgunj Municipality of Parsa District on August 1, 2005.
The terrorists who have been carrying out atrocities against the unarmed civilians displayed their cowardice by looting passengers of six buses on their way to Birtamod from Illam near Harkate area on July 31, 2005 and also kidnapped some of the passengers and took them to an undisclosed location.
Likewise, the terrorists on July 26, 2005 abducted some 200 students of Binayak Higher Secondary School of Achham District and forced them to carry the food items extorted from the villagers towards Santada area of the district.
