Museum Inaugurated

An army Museum has been constructed in Chhawani at the initiative of the Royal Nepalese Army is inaugurated by Vice-Chairman of the Council of Ministers Kirtinidhi Bista. The museum has been named ‘Gyanendra Army Museum’.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chairman Bista said the new Nepal was built through the working unity between King, people and the army and lauded patriotism and contributions of the Royal Nepalese Army in nation building. He also expressed his hope that civil society, intellectuals, scholars, journalists, army and HMG will extended their cooperation in development of the army museum.

Stuff relating to the history of the Nepalese Army have been put on display in the Museum.
