Maoist Activist Surrendered: Jyoti Malla from Chandranighahapur of Rautahat District, Bir Bahadur Nepali and Dil Bahadur Budathoki from Jungathapachour of Jajarkot District, Krishna Bahadur Thapa from Rugeen VDC-5 of Bajura District and Padam Singh Danga of Darchula District has surrendered to the Security Forces (SF) in the respective District Office on January 26 and January 25. They have regretted for what they have done in the past.
Bombs and Logistics Recovered: In the search operation conducted by the Security Forces (SF) in Ghamrung of Lamjung District, Thawang of Rolpa District and Bijuliya region of Kailali District on January 27, SF recovered Eight (8) Pipe Bombs, Large amount of different kind of Bombs, Detonators, Large amount of equipments used to conduct electric ambush along with 400 Meters of wire, Combat dresses and other Logistics from the region.

सुरक्षा सम्बन्धि सेमिनार प्रतिवेदन
मिति 2060/10/12 गते पश्चिम पृतना हेड क्वार्टरको सँयोजकत्वमा मध्य तथा सुदुरपश्चिम विकास क्षेत्रका सुरक्षा निकायका प्रमुखहरुको क्षेत्रिय सेमिनार सम्पन्न भयो। सेमिनारमा श्री ५ को सरकारले युनिफाईड कमाण्ड तथा भिलेज डिफेन्स फोर्स गठन गरी जनताहरुलाई सुरक्षाको प्रत्याभुति दिन गरेको कार्यलाई सैनिकीकरण भन्न नमिल्ने कुरामा निजामति, सेना तथा प्रहरीका क्षेत्रिय प्रमुखहरु एकमत देखिएका थिए। सेमिनारको उद्घाटन मन्तव्य दिनु हुँदै मध्य पश्चिम क्षेत्रिय प्रशासक रविन्द्र मान जोशीले हाल देशमा उन्पन्न असहज परिस्थितिलाई सामना तथा नियन्त्रण गर्नको लागि सबै सुरक्षा निकायहरु समन्वयात्मक रुपमा परिचालन तथा क्षेत्रिय सँयोजन गरिएको बताउँदै ऐन कानुन अनुसार दैनिक प्रशासन चलाउन तथा विकास र प्रशासनलाई गाउं गाउंमा पुर््याउन सुरक्षा फौज असरदार ढँगबाट परिचालित हुनु पर्छ भनि भन्नुभयो। कार्यक्रममा सम्बोधन गर्दै पश्चिम पृतनापति उपरथी श्री रुक्मांद कटवालले सुरक्षा फौजको आगामी रणनीति बारे प्रकाश पार्दै श्री ५ को सरकारको उपस्थिति जिल्लाको सबै स्थानमा पुर््याउन र स्थानिय जनतालाई शान्ति सुरक्षाको प्रत्याभुति दिलाई सँबैधानिक राजतन्त्र र बहुदलिय प्रजातन्त्रप्रति सकारात्मक भावना जगाउन सबै सुरक्षा निकाय तथा स्थानिय प्रशासनले अथक प्रयास गर्नु पर्ने बताउनु भयो। यसै सन्दर्भमा उहाँले भन्नुभयो, सँसारका विभिन्न ठाउंहरुमा युनिफाईड कमाण्डको अवधारणाहरु प्रयोगमा आईरहेका छन्, जहाँकहीँ कतैबाट पनि सैनिकीकरणको प्रश्न उठ्ने गरेको छैन। देशमा आईपर्ने खतराबाट देशलाई मुक्त पार्न, दैवी प्रकोप, अनिकालको बेला कम भन्दा कम समयमा सवै निकायहरु समन्वय भई अपरेशनल रोलमा जान सजिलो होस् भनि केही समय सम्मको लागि यस्तो कार्य गरिन्छ। यसबाट उपलव्ध श्रोत र शक्तिको अधिकतम उपयोग मितव्ययिताका साथ समन्वयात्मक ढंगबाट माओवादी प्रभावलाई न्युन पारी जनताको विश्वास लिई शान्ति सु(व्यवस्था कायम गर्नमा प्रयोग गरिन्छ।
सेना तथा प्रहरीका क्षेत्रिय प्रमुखहरुले माओवादीहरुले घोषणा गरेको कथित स्वायत्त जनसरकार ईलाकाहरुमा सुरक्षा फौजहरु जानमा कुनै अप्ठ्यारो नपरेको र उनीहरुको कथित जनसेना को स्थायी व्यारेक र माओवादी कन्ट्रोल एरिया कहिँ पनि नभएकोले यो खाली जनता तथा अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय जगतलाई गुमराहमा राख्ने चाल मात्र रहेको बताउनु भएको थियो।
सो कार्यक्रममा यही माघ द्दछ गते हुन गईरहेको नागरिक अभिनन्दन समारोह सफलताकासाथ सम्पन्न गराउन आवश्यक छलफल गरिएको थियो। कार्यक्रममा सुरक्षा निकायका सबै क्षेत्रिय प्रमुखहरुले आ(आफनो विचार प्रस्तुत गर्नु भएको थियो। सुदुर(पश्चिम क्षेत्रिय प्रशासक दयाराम बहादुर श्रेष्ठले पहिलो पटक यस प्रकारको गोष्ठी आयोजना गरिएको बताउनु हुँदै सँबैधानिक राजतन्त्र र बहुदलिय प्रजातन्त्रप्रति प्रतिबद्ध रही जनभावनाको कदर, मानव अधिकारको सँरक्षण गर्दै काम कारवाहीहरु अझ शसक्त रुपमा बढाउनु पर्ने कुरामा जोड दिनु भयो।
सेमिनारले आतंकबादी गतिविधीलाई निष्तेज पारी सर्वसाधारण जनताको शान्तिपूर्ण तरिकाले बाँच्न पाउने अधिकार सुनिश्चित पारी श्री ५ को सरकारको विकाशका कार्यक्रमहरु स्थानिय तहसम्म पुर््याउन UNIFIED COMMAND नै हालको एक मात्र उपाय रहेको निष्कर्ष निकालेको थियो।
Five (5) Maoist Terrorist Killed in different region of the Country: In a cross firing between the Security Forces (SF) and the armed Maoist terrorists, Five (5) Maoist terrorists were killed in different region of the Country. One (1) terrorist was killed in Hantipur region of Dhanusha District, Two (2) terrorists were killed in Mukundapur region of Nawalparashi District and One (1) terrorist was killed in Kalilekh region of Jajarkot District on January 26. Similarly, One (1) terrorist was killed in Ramauli region of Makanwanpur District on January 25.
SF recovered Two (2) Pistols, Bullets, Different kind of Bombs, Detonators, equipments used to conduct electric ambush and other Logistics from the region.
Weapons Recovered: In the search operation conducted by the Security Forces (SF) in Biratnagar of Morang District, Madheli and Singiya region of Sunsari District on January 26 and in Jugar region of Rolpa District on January 24, SF recovered Two (2) Pistols, One (1) Shot Gun, Different kind of Bombs, Combat Dresses, equipments used to conduct electric ambush, One (1) Motor Cycle and other Logistics from the region.
Bomb Diffused: Security Forces (SF) diffused Pressure Cooker Bomb Placed by the Maoist terrorists in Narayani Transportation Management Office of Parsha District on January 26.
Maoist Activist Surrendered: Krishna Prasad Gautam of Dungkharka VDC-3 of Kavrepalanchok District, Two(2) activist from Jungathapachour region of Jajarkot District, Anita Oli of Chakhawang VDC-2 and Kamala K.C. of Chakhawang VDC-5 of Rukum District, has surrendered to the Security Forces (SF) in the respective District Office on January 24. They have regretted what they have done in the past.
Local Abducted: Tul Bahadur Thapa (teacher of Pashupati Secondary School, Tapra) of Bramhatola VDC of Bhajang District was abducted by the Maoist Terrorist on January 23.

Five (5) Maoist Terrorist Killed in different region of the Country: In a cross firing between the Security Forces (SF) and the armed Maoist terrorists, Five (5) Maoist terrorists were killed in different region of the Country. Two (2) terrorists were killed in Jungathapachour region of Dailekh District and Two (2) were killed in Shonbarsha region of Surkhet District on January 24. Similarly, One (1) terrorist was killed in Ghoureni region of Dhading District on January 23.
SF recovered Different kind of Bombs, equipments used to conduct electric ambush and other Logistics from the region.
Abducted Child in contact with SF: The abducted child from Manta of Lalitpur District named Renuka Thapa Magar of 13 years old is now in contact of the Security Forces (SF). She was abducted on September 10 by the group of Maoist. She also said that in a group of 16 members of the Maoist terrorist there are about 6 children of her age. She was able to break the security of the Maoist terrorist and was in contact with the SF.
Maoist terrorist has disobeyed the International Humanitarian Law, Child Rights Law and Geneva Act and the abduction of the 13 year old Renuka Thapa Magar is an example.
Weapons and Logistics Recovered: In the search operation conducted by the Security Forces (SF) in Dirbote region of Panchthar District and Jungathapachour region of Dailekh District on January 25 and in Morawang region of Rukum District on January 24, SF recovered One (1) Gun, Parts of different kind of Weapons, Different kind of Bombs, Bullets, Combat Dresses, equipments used to conduct electric ambush, Rupees Twenty Thousand Four Hundred and Eighty (Rs. 20,480) from the region.
Bomb Diffused: Security Forces (SF) diffused different kind of Bombs placed by the Maoist terrorist inside Industrial Development region of Pokhara Sub Metropolitian City and Chiudi region of Dhading District on January 25. Similarly, on January 24 SF diffused another Bomb from Saheedchok of Chitwan District.
Maoist Activist Surrendered: Man Bahadur Oli and Padam Bahadur Thapa of Bhur VDC of Jajarkot District, Man Bahadur Buda of Madana VDC of Humla District, Reltha Bhandari of Bichaa VDC of Bajura District, Puskar Bohora of Surma VDC of Bajhang District has surrendered to the Security Forces (SF) in the respective District Office on January 23 and January 24. They have regretted what they have done in the past.
Humanitarian Assistance: In the initiation of the Security Forces (SF), the group of medical Team treated 53 Locals from Jugada region of Bajura District on January 23. The medicine were distributed free of cost.
Similarly, Citizenship was provided to 44 Locals and Scholarship was provided to 165 Students of the region.

माओवादी आतकारीहरुको बैँक लुट्ने दुश्प्रयास सुरक्षा फौजद्वारा विफल
ज्ञ. मिति द्दण्टण् माघ ढ गतेको ज्ञज्ञस्ण्ण् बजे तिर चितवन जिल्ला स्थित भरतपुर नगरपालिका शहिदचोक स्थित कृषि विकास बैंक लुट्ने प्रयास गरेकोमा सँयुक्त सुरक्षा फौजले उक्त प्रयासलाई विफल तुल्याई दिएको छ।
द्द.उक्त घटनामा सर्वप्रथम घ जना आतङ्ककारीहरु आई सुरक्षा गार्डलाई कव्जामा लिई मेनेजरको कक्षमा पुगे पछि फोन सम्पर्क बिच्छेद गरी रकम माग गर्दा उक्त बैँकका मेनेजरले रकम क्यासियर सँग रहने बताए पछि मेनेजर र क्यासियरलाई सेफ खोल्न लगाई रकम लुट्ने दुश्प्रयास गरेकोमा सुरक्षा फौजले घटनाको जानकारी प्राप्त हुनासाथ बैँकलाई चारैतिर तर्फबाट घेराउ गरी नियन्त्रणमा लिएको थियो।
घ.आतकारीहरुले बैँक लुटि बैँकको तेस्रो तला माथिबाट झ्याल फोरी बायाँ पट्टिको घ तले घरमा पसे पछि करिव आधा घ०टा दोहोरो भिडन्त भएको थियो। सँयुक्त सुरक्षा फौजको कारवाहीबाट ज्ञद्धस्द्दण् बजे सम्म तेस्रो तलामा द्ध जना र त्यस पछि द्द गरी जम्मा ट जना आतकारीहरुको घटना स्थलमा नै मृत्यु भएको थियो।
द्ध.प्रतिकुल मौसमको फाईदा उठाई माओवादी आतकारीहरुको बैँक लुट्ने दुश्प्रयास असफल भएपछि लटश्ुटेको रकमलाई यत्रतत्र छरिएको अवस्थामा रु.ढट लाख जोगाउन सुरक्षा फौज सफल भएको छ। उक्त रकमलाई बैँकका मेनेजर, बैँकका कर्मचारी, प्रमुख जिल्ला अधिकारी र प्रहरीको रोहवरमा उक्त बैँकलाई नै बुझाईएको छ।
छ.घटनास्थलबाट माओवादी आतकारीहरुले प्रयोग गरेको पेस्तोल नाल द्ध, ऐ.को राउण्ड ज्ञछ, फायर गरि सकेको खोका ज्ञट, सकेट बम द्द, पेजर घ, प्लायर ज्ञ, आतकारीहरुले प्रयोग गरेको मोटरसाईकल छ ढबा.घ प छढडड, ना.ज्ञ.प.द्धज्ञण्घ , ना.ट प.द्दछछठ, बा.ट.प. ज्ञण्टघ र बा.छ.प. छद्दछठ), आतकारीहरुले प्रयोग गरेको डायरी तथा नोटबुकहरु समेत बरामद गरेको छ। उक्त घटनामा सर्वसाधारण कर्मचारी तथा सुरक्षा फौजतर्फ कुनैपनि नोक्सानी भएको छैन।
भ्रामक समाचारको खण्डन
ज्ञ. मिति द्दण्टण् माघ ढ गते काठमाण्डौंबाट प्रकाशित हुने कान्तिपुर दैनिकमा “सेनाद्वारा तीन युवकको हत्या” शिर्षकमा प्रकाशित खबर प्रति शाही नेपाली सेना गम्भिर असमति सहित आपत्ति प्रकट गर्दछ।
द्द. मिति द्दण्टण् माघ ड गते सुरक्षा फौजको नियमित गस्ती माथि सकेट बम फाल्न प्रयास गर्ने तथाकथित जिल्ला जनसरकार सँयुक्त समिति सदस्य राम चन्द्र रा.म. र कुमरी गा.वि.स.को महादेव स्थान ईलाकामा सर्चको दौरान जँगल नजिकको द्द वटा घरबाट जवरजस्ती चन्दा सँकलन गरी रहेको अवस्थामा सुरक्षा फौजले अड्न आदेश दिँदा आदेशलाई अटेर गरी भाग्ने प्रयास गर्ने राजन पुडासैनी र यदु मुडभरी सुरक्षात्मक कारवाहीमा मारिएका हुन्।
घ. उल्लेखित राजन पुडासैनीलाई द्दण्छड साल पौष द्ध गते सुरक्षा फौजले पक्राउ गरी ज्ञढ दिन थुनामा राखेपछि ऐ. द्दघ गते तारिखमा रिहा गरेको र मिति द्दण्छढ÷ज्ञ÷ज्ञज्ञ गतेको तारिखमा हाजिर हुनु पर्नेमा उक्त मितिबाटै पुनः फरार रही आतकारी क्रियाकलापमा सकृय रुपमा सँलग्न रहेको जानकारी प्राप्त भई सकेको छ। निजहरुले जवरजस्ती चन्दा सँकलनको क्रममा स्थानिय बिदुर मुडभरीको घरबाट रु.ज्ञ,ण्ण्ण्।– नगद नदिए हलगोरु लैजाने धम्की दिएको समेत बुझिएको छ। घटना पश्चात कुनै पनि व्यक्तिलाई मुचुल्कामा हस्ताक्षर गर्न दवाव दिईएको छैन।
Ten (10) Maoist Terrorist Killed in different region of the Country: In a cross firing between the Security Forces (SF) and the armed Maoist terrorists, Ten (10) Maoist terrorists were killed in different region of the Country. One (1) terrorist was killed in Chure region of Siraha District on January 23. Similarly, Four (4) terrorist were killed in Khamuwa region of Bara District and One (1) each terrorist was killed in Phulangiri region of Gorkha District and , Rambhori region of Parsa District, and Three (3) terrorist were killed in Shalma region of Jagarkot District on January 22.
SF recovered One (1) Pistol, Bullets, different kind of Bombs, equipments used to conduct electric ambush and other Logistics from the region.
Pistol Recovered: In the search operation conducted by the Security Forces (SF) in Basanpur region of Rautahat District on January 23, SF recovered One (1) Pistol and bullets.
Innocent Killed by Maoist Terrorist: Khurana Rajbanshi of Ramghad of Jhapa District was brutally murdered by the armed Maoist terrorist on January 23 and Abutali Miyan was severely injured.
Humanitarian Assistance: In the initiation of the Security Forces (SF), the group of medical Team treated 78 Locals of Jugada region of Baitadi District January 22. The medicine were distributed free of cost.
Similarly, Citizenship was provided to 45 Locals, Seeds of different fruits and vegetables was provided to 20 farmers of the region and Scholarship was provided to 110 students of the region.

Six (6) Maoist Terrorist Killed in different region of the Country: In a cross firing between the Security Forces (SF) and the armed Maoist terrorists, Six (6) Maoist terrorists were killed in different region of the Country on January 21. Four (4) Maoist terrorist were killed in Pachase region of Nuwakot District and Two (2) terrorist were killed between the Jungle region of Betaha and Kalidamar region of Udaypur District.
SF recovered Large amount of different kind of Bombs, equipments used to conduct electric ambush, Rs. Seventy Thousand and Twelve (Rs. 78,012) and other Logistics from the region.
Weapons and Explosives Recovered: In the search operation conducted by the Security Forces (SF) in Tilpung and Naghdaha region of Ramechaap District on January 21, SF recovered Two (2) Guns, Two (2) Socket Bombs and One Kilograms (1 Kg.) of explosives.
Teacher Killed by Maoist Terrorist: A teacher named Karmachari Das, 52 year old of Govindapur-8, Dangi Chowk of Morang District was brutally murdered by the armed Maoist terrorist on January 17.
Similarly, on January 21 bus driver Deep Bahadur Thapa was injured nearby Khuhurepani Masaute Khala region of Dang District when the electric ambush was conducted by the Maoist terrorist. He was rushed to the Nepalgunj Hospital for the treatment.
Bomb Diffused: Security Forces (SF) diffused different kind of Bombs placed by the Maoist terrorist in Nakhataajhi region of Dhanusha District and Mashotakhola region of Dang District on January 21.
Maoist Activist Surrendered: Tanka Prasad Jaisi of Tolijaisi VDC-4 of Dailekh District has surrendered to the Security Forces (SF) on January 21. He has regretted for what he had done in the past.
Humanitarian Assistance: In the initiation of the Security Forces (SF), the group of medical Team treated 80 Locals from different regions of Lamjung District and of Bajura District on January 21 and January 20. The medicine were distributed free of cost.
Similarly, Citizenship was provided to 256 Locals, Passport to 1 Local, Aged Allowances was provided to 16 Locals, Scholarship was provided to 200 Students of the region, Disabled Allowances was provided to 30 Disabled Locals.

Seminar Held: One day seminar between the Royal Nepalese Army (RNA) and the Media was held on January 22 at Shava Mandap in Royal Nepal Army Headquarter. Generals, High ranking officer from the RNA and renowned Media persons had participated in the seminar. The Inauguration was conducted by Lt. Gen. Shree Sadeep Bahadur Shah, Chief of General Staff.
In the seminar past incident were discussed in different syndicates and the presentation were shown. The closing remarks was given by renowned Journalist Shree Puru Risal and the vote of thank you was given by Lt. Gen. Shree Chitra Bahadur Gurung, Chief of Staff.
Sixteen (16) Maoist Terrorist Killed in different region of the Country
1. In a cross firing between the Security Forces (SF) and the armed Maoist terrorists, Sixteen (16) Maoist terrorists were killed in different region of the Country. Three (3) Maoist terrorist were killed in Gongata region of Dolakha District on January 21. Similarly, Seven (7) Maoist terrorist were killled in Laisepre region of Dolakha District, Two (2) were killed in Singati Khola region of the same District and One (1) was killed in Galeshwor region of Magdi District on January 20. One (1) terrorist was killed in Gurjappa region of Dolakha District on January 19 and Two (2) were killed in Simra Khola region of Terathum District on January 16.
2. SF recovered One (1) Gun, Two (2) Pistols, Different Rounds, Large amount of different kind of Bombs, Plastic Grenade, equipments used to conduct electric ambush and Fifty Kilograms (50 Kg.) of Gelatin.
3. The Royal Nepalese Army helicopter on the way to Jajarkot District sited approximately 300 Maoist terrorist with arms in Jungathapachour region on January 19 at 11:00 AM. To confirm it the chopper went closer and the Maoist terrorist opened the fire. In response to the fire Bombs were dropped. It is still not yet know about the causalities suffered by the Maoist terrorist and Security Forces (SF) has intensified their search operation in the region.
Soldier attained Martyrdom: One Soldier attained Martyrdom in a cross firing with the Maoist terrorist in Galeshwor region of Magdhi District on January 20.
Innocent Local Killed by Maoist Terrorist: Udhisuwa Garbuja of Nacharyang VDC-3 of Magdhi District died in the way to the hospital due to the explosion of the ambush conducted by the Maoist terrorist on January 19. Five others are injured in the incident.
Two (2) Locals of Laisepra region of Dolakha District are injured when the armed Maoist terrorist opened the firing and threw Socket Bombs on January 20.
Bomb Diffused: On a search operation conducted by the Security Forces (SF), SF Diffused different kind of Bombs placed by the Maoist terrorist for the purpose of massive destruction in Namanbhangjang of Lalitpur District on January 19 and from Goganpani region of Dadeldhura District on January 18.
Maoist Activist Surrendered: Nara Bahadur Aale and Kaushila Dhenga of Kalika VDC of Dailekh District, Dhana Bahadur Sarki of Haku VDC of Jumla District, Mohan Krishna Upadhayaya of Dhapa VDC of Humla District, Hasharadhin Miyan of Balkot VDC of Aarghakhachi District, Gyan Raj Giri, Tej Bahadur Nepali, Krishna Bahadur Tomta and Tika Bahadur BK of Bagla VDC of Gulmi District has surrendered to the Security Forces (SF) in the respective District Office on January 18 and January 20. They have regretted what they have done in the past.
Humanitarian Assistance: In the initiation of the Security Forces (SF), the group of medical Team treated 1076 Locals of Kathmandu District, Lamjung District, Aacham District, Bajura District and Rashuwa District on January 19. The medicine were distributed free of cost.

SF recovered different kind of Bombs, equipments used to conduct electric ambush, Combat Dresses and other Logistics from the region.
Bomb Diffused: Security Forces (SF) diffused three Bombs placed by the Maoist terrorist for the purpose of massive destruction in Sindhupalanchok District on January 1.
Maoist Activist Surrendered: Thakur Bhujel of Lagarche VDC-1 of Sindhupalanchok District had surrendered to the District Office on December 31.
Humanitarian Assistance: In the initiation of the Security Forces (SF), the group of medical Team treated 950 Locals of Humla District, Doti District, Bajura District and Parbat District on December 29, December 30 and December 31. The medicine were distributed free of cost.
Citizenship was provided to 444 Locals, Passport to 6 Locals, and seeds of different kinds of fruits and vegetables were distributed along with the medicine to 416 Farmers, Aged Allowances was provided to 32 Locals, Widow Allowances to 7 Widows, Scholarship was provided to 300 students, 1696 domestic animals were treated and medicine were distributed.

Locals Injured in an Ambush: Five Locals of Bhotenamlang VDC-8 of Sindhupalanchok District were seriously injured in an electric ambush that was conducted by the Maoist terrorist. The injured were Shreemaya Gurung, Ram Giri, Ramji Giri, Pradeep Shrestha and Birkharaj Rai. The injured were carried by a chopper and are undergoing treatment in Shree Birendra Hospital Chaauni.
Maoist Activist Surrendered: Bel Bahadur B.K. of Manma-2, Manapura Pandey, Tarakumari Sahi of Daha–7, Dhana Laxmi Sahi of Chappre, Purnima Neupane of Pakha–4, Rajendra Sahi of Jubitha-9 and Prakash Sahi of Chapre-6 has surrendered to the District office of Kalikot District. Similarly, Ananda Bahadur Sahi, Paul Bahadur B.K., Amrita Ramjali also has surrendered in the District office of Dailekh District.
