NHRC received the compalints, 2062 Poush 8
The National Human Rights Commission has received the complaints of threat of taking action by CPN (Maoist) to Bhojaraj Kadaria, Khananda Kadaria and Kumar Dahal of Khimti, Ramechhap against the human rights and humanitarian law on 14 December 2005.
Likewise, the Commission has also received the complaints that the state of Trithaman Shrestha of Jalabire, Sindhupalchowk is unknown since he was abducted some five months ago while Salikram Sharma of Bharatpur, Chitawan. was forcibly displaced .
The Commission appeals to CPN( Maoist ) to fully comply with human rights and humanitarian law in pursuance to the commitments made in public towards human rights and humanitarian law and also the declaration of truce by immediately releasing the abducted without any condition and create an atmosphere whereby the displaced return back home with dignity.
