Eight terrorists Killed
In a retaliation action carried out by the Security Forces (SF) when the armed Maoist terrorists opened fire on the regular patrol team of the SF two Maoist terrorists were killed in Aaushidanda area of Terhathum district on September 25, 2005.
Likewise, When the armed Maoist terrorists opened fire from their hideouts on the regular patrol team of the SF six armed terrorists were killed in the crossfiring at Bahadurpur of Palpa district on September 24, 2005. SF recovered three guns, large quantity of socket bombs (improvised grenades) and local weapons from the site.
In the incident a local child was injured by the intensified fire from the terrorists. The injured is airlifted to Kathmandu and is undergoing treatment at Birendra Hospital Chhauni.
