Peace Keeping Force Leaves for Burundi
The second team of the Third Contingent of the Gorakh Nath Battalion (Peace Keepers) left here for the Burundi (ONUB mission) for peacekeeping purposes at the call of the United Nations on September 5, 2005.
Major General Govinda Bahadur Gurung at the Tribhuvan International Airport saw off the team.
The team led by Major Puskar Jung Rana has a total of 220 personnel including 2 Officers, 29 Padiks and 189 of other ranks.
