Two Army Officers Punished on Human Rights Violation Case
The RNA conducted a through investigation into the incident that took place at Kharpachowk of Kavrepalanchok district on 10 June 2005 in which military court has found that RNA personnel had disobeyed army operation task guidelines not to travel on passenger buses, which could possibly endanger civilian lives. To discipline those responsible for risking the lives of civilians, a military court has demoted one Captain to Lieutenant and put on hold any promotion for a Lieutenant for a period of one year.
