Further Information Regarding Kalikot Clash
Terrorists mutilated and killed some security personnel after capturing them following Sunday’s overnight clashes in Pili of mid-western Kalikot district, neglecting all the International Humanitarian Laws. 40 security personnel attained martyrdom in the overnight clashes with the terrorists.
A large number of terrorists had attacked the temporary base camp set up for the construction of the Surkhet-Jumla Road at Pili Sunday night.
111 security personnel had come in contact.
The attack on non-combatant RNA personnel involved in road construction has proved that the terrorists are anti-development. The security personnel, who had gone missing have returned with the weapons.
RNA would resume the road construction within some days. The RNA is committed to accomplish its assigned task and will not be deterred from assisting the development works in different parts of the country.
Security Forces have intensified its search operation in the region.
