Peace Keeping Force Leaves for Congo
The second team of the Fourth Contingent of the Naya Gorakh Battalion (Peace Keepers) left here for the Central African Nation of Congo (MONUC mission) for peacekeeping purposes at the call of the United Nations on August 4, 2005.
Adjutant General Major General Pradip Pratap Bam Malla at the Tribhuwan International Airport saw off the team.
The team led by Major Purna Bahadur Thapamagar has a total of 220 personnel including 4 Officers, 24 Padiks and 192 of other ranks.
