NOTICE OF THE PRESS SECRETARIAT OF HIS MAJESTY THE KING
His Majesty the King has, in consideration of the grave situration arisen in regard to the sovereignty, integrity and security of the Kingdom of Nepal, declared, in accordance with Article 115 (1) of the Constitution of Kingdom of Nepal - 1990, a state of emergency throughout the Kingdom with immediate effect, and, pursuant to Clause (8) of the same Article, suspended sub-clauses (a), (b),and (d) of clause (2) of Article 12 and clause (1) of Article 13 and Articles 15, 16, 17, 22, and 23 (except the right to remedy of habeas corpus).
