Khara: Heavy looses on Maoist Terrorists, 15 More dead bodies recovered
The total death toll of maoist terrorists reached up to 182 as security forces recovered 15 more dead bodies from the Khara Area. It is confirmed from the eye-witness, involved in carrying the 85 dead bodies of terrorists to the neighboring district, that the total death toll reached up to 267. SF further recovered 10 each magazines of SLR and LMG and 100 more 7.62 mm rounds from the nearby jungle area.
Terrorists Killed in Security Operations. Security forces killed Six (6) more Maoists on 30 May. Two (2) each terrorists were killed in Chiwang area and Murul area of Rukum District ,each one (1) in Nyaulapur area of Bardia and Burtibang area of Banglung District. Security forces recovered arms, ammunitions, explosives and logistics from the region.
Soldiers got martyrdom. Two security force soldiers got martyrdom when they were suddenly trapped in electrical ambush on 30 May. The incident occurred in Bounia area of Kailali District. SF is still vigorously intensifying its search operation in the region. Meanwhile, other 2 injured soldiers were evacuated to Birendra Hospital Chhauni for the treatment.
Injured Woman evacuated for treatment by SF. Woman, injured when she was trapped in crossfire between maoist terrorists and SF, was air lifted to Nepalganj Hospital for treatment. The accident occurred in Syaada area of Humla District.
Food Grains and Logistics Recovered. Security forces recovered large amount of food grains and logistics from the Sara area of Pyuthan District, during its search operation.

Khara: 17 more dead bodies recovered, death toll reached to 167
Security forces recovered 17 more dead bodies of maoist terrorists from Khara Area. The death toll of maoist terrorists reached up to 167. SF is still vigorously intensifying its search operation in the region.
It is believed that 85 dead bodies of maoist terrorists were taken towards Salyan District on bamboo sticks, eye-witness told Security Forces. The eye-witness were involved on carrying the dead bodies. The eye-witness confirms that the dead bodies belongs to so called higher ranking combatants of the terrorists group.
Terrorists Killed in Security Operations. Security forces killed Twelve (12) more Maoists on 29 May. Eight (8) terrorists were killed in Ramal area of Bajhang District , Two (2) in Lothar area of Chitwan District and each one (1) in Lakhanawa and Nyaulapur area of Bardia District. Security forces recovered arms, ammunitions, explosives and logistics from the region.

More death bodies and weapons recovered from Khara area of Rukum
Security forces recovered 50 more dead bodies of maoist terrorists from Khara Area of Rukum. Thousands of maoist terrorists attacked Security Force Base on 27 May. Total death of the maoist terrorist arises to one hundred and fifty (150). SF further recovered 3000 rounds of 7.62 mm SLR, 500 rounds of 303 Rifle, 10 magazines and 200 rounds of 9mm Gun, 87 Grenades, 5 12-Bores, 3 Pressure Cooker Bombs ( IED ), medicines and other logistics.
Terrorists Killed in Security Operations. Security forces killed Four (4) Maoists terrorists and one terrorists was injured in Dhumsa area of Solukhumbhu District on 28 May. Security forces recovered bombs, explosives and logistics from the region.
Ammunitions Recovered. Security forces recovered 481 rounds of 303 rifle, 7.62 Rifle and 9 mm gun from the cave near the stadium of Pokhara Municipality of Kaski District.

Security Forces recovered more death bodies of Maoist terrorists.
Security forces recovered 20 more dead bodies from Khara Area of Rukum. Total death of the maoist terrorist arises to one hundred (100).It is still estimated that death tolls of maoist terrorists may arise to two hundred. SF recovered 3 barrels and 60 magazines of LMG, 66 magazines, 2 bayonets and 4000 rounds of 7.62 mm SLR, 200 rounds of 303 rifle and large amount of explosives from the area. SF is still vigorously intensifying its search operation in the region.
Terrorists Killed in Security Operations. Security forces killed six (6) more Maoists on 27 May. Two terrorists were killed in Jankot area of Rolpa District , one in Bijeshwori area of Rukum District and three in Musepani of Kanchanpur District. Security forces recovered arms, ammunitions, bombs, binoculars, combat dresses, explosives and logistics from the region.
Arms, Ammunitions and Logistics Recovered. Security forces recovered four guns from the Bakrang area of Chitwan District and large amount of food grains from the Thalajhung area of Gorkha District during the search operation.
80 dead bodies of Maoist Terrorists Recovered
On 27 May, thousands of Maoist terrorists attacked on Security Forces Base Camp in Khara area of Rukum District. Terrorist used Mortars, Rocker Launcher and Machine Guns, previously looted from SF Camps. In reply of the attack by Security force, the terrorists suffered heavy casualties. The fighting started from 11:00 PM. The SF has till now recovered 80 dead bodies of terrorists. 1 LMG, 15 7.62 mm rifle, 32 303 rifle, 5 shot guns, 2 12 Bore and Pistol and large amount of explosives have been recovered from the area. During retaliation, 5 soldiers died and other 20 injured. The injured soldiers are carrying treatment at Birendra Army Hospital, Chhauni.

Terrorists Killed in Security Operations. Security forces killed six (6) more Maoists on 26 May. Terrorists named Hari bahadur Nepali (Bhusan) was killed in Khoplang area of Gorkha District , one each in Sindhuli District, Korak area of Chitwan, Nyaulapur area of Bardia District, Kichnash area of Syangja District and in Naumule of Dailekh District. Security forces recovered arms, ammunitions, bombs and explosives from the region.

Terrorists Killed in Security Operations. Security forces killed seven (7) more Maoists on 25 May. Three terrorists were killed in Salyan and one each in Dailekh, Sindhuli, Dandeldhura and Chitwan. Maoist seriously injured a 70-year-old father of a soldier in Dhading, he is undergoing treatment at the Birendra Military Hospital.

Terrorists Killed in Security Operations. Six Maoists were killed in encounters with Security forces (SF) on 24 May. Maoists killed two civilians in an attack on a home in Manpur village in Rautahat district and two terrorists died in counterattack by villagers and security forces.The civilians were identified as Sikandar and Surat Yadav. One terrorist each was killed in Ramechap, Surkhet, Syangjha and Kailali. Security forces recovered arms, ammunitions, bombs, combat dresses, explosives and logistics during a search in Dolpa.

Terrorists Killed in Security Operations. Security forces (SF) killed 9(Nine) terrorists in different parts of the country during its search operations.
SF Killed three armed terrorists in Peeplay area of Chitwan District, this morning. Terrorist named Santa Bahadur Gurung, Rajan Kandel and Jaal Kumar Shrestha were killed in an encounter.
They were believed to be involved in setting up the fire in public bus on 10 Falgun, 2058 BS.
Five people, including a 7-year old innocent girl, were killed in that tragic incident. SF recovered appliances for conducting electrical ambush and literatures belonging to terrorist Maoist group.
SF killed Four armed terrorists during the search operation in Badalkot area of Kalikot disctrict, on 23 May 2002. SF recovered socket bombs, ammunitions from the area.
Two armed terrorists were killed in an encounter with SF in Soyak area of Ilam District, on 23 May 2002. SF recovered 5 guns, ammunitions and literatures related to terrorist Maoist group.
Arms and Equipment Recovered. The SF team recovered one 303 rifle, two 12-Bore, Binocular and other appliances from Devitar area of Chitwan and one guns and large amount of explosives and home made weapons from Kagada area of Makwanpur District.

Terrorists Killed in Security Operations. Security forces (SF) killed 19(Nineteen) terrorists in different parts of the country during its search operations on 22 May.
During separate encounters with the armed terrorists the SF killed Seven in Ghatte Lek area of Mugu district (Far West Nepal).
SF Killed Six armed terrorist in Jugada of Bajura District. In boarder area of Baglung, SF killed the village committee member of terrorist group including another one armed terrorist during the encounter.
In Lapilang area of Dholakha District, the village committee member belonging to the terrorist group was killed in an encounter with SF.
During the search operation conducted by SF, terrorist named "Nekon" and "Rakesh" including three were killed in Okhare area of Jumla District. Those terrorist were believed to be area committee member of the terrorist maoist group.
Arms and Equipments Recovered. The SF team recovered Five guns from Ghatte Lek of Mugu and three guns from Suchia of Bhajhang District. Also, the SF team recovered large amount of Arms, Amunitions, appliances for conducting Electrical ambush from the area.

Terrorists Killed in Security Operations. Security forces (SF) killed 13(Thirteen) terrorists in different parts of the country during its search operations. During encounters with the armed terrorists the SF killed five in Suri area of Dholaka district. The SF identified the terrorists' shelter and conducted search operation. The SF recovered 303 Rifles, Shut Guns, Pistols, Explosives and Socket Bombs from the area. In another encounter Six terrorist were killed in Bandra of Rukum District. Similary, in Jajarkot District, one terrorist was killed in encounter with SF. The SF team recovered large amount. of arms, ammunition, socket bombs and other appliances used in terrorist act from the area. Also, one terrorist was killed in Hari Katina area of Rukum District.

Terrorists Killed in Security Operations. Security forces (SF) killed 7(seven) terrorists in different parts of the country during its search operations. During separate encounters with the armed terrorists the SF killed five in Dhamili Kuwa area of Lamjung district (Western Nepal) believed to of the Area Committee of the maoist terrorist group, one in Khairi Maidi of Dhading (Mid Nepal) active in destructive activity, one in Ghorai of Dang ( Mid West Nepal). The SF team recovered arms, ammunition, socket bombs and other appliances used in terrorist act. Terrorist Surrender. One terrorist surrendered to the Local administrative authority in Dholakha district. He was so called member of Local village committee of the maoist terrorist group.

Terrorists Killed in Security Operations. Security forces (SF) killed 26(Twenty six) terrorists in different parts of the country during its search operations on 16 May.. During separate encounters with the armed terrorists the SF killed Seventeen in Sawar River area of Dang district (Mid West Nepal), Five in Dahachaur of Surkhet (Mid West Nepal), Two in Taluwa area of Okheldhunga district (East) and one each in Narayanpur of Kailali and Ramaroshan of Accham districts( Far West Nepal). Arms and Equipment Recovered. The SF team recovered Two guns from Alital of Dadeldhura district.( Far West) Arms Hand over. The Local responsive people from Dadeldhura district formally handed over Ten Guns to the SF Patrol in the same district.

Terrorists Killed in Security Operations. On 8 May, Security forces (SF) killed 10(Ten) terrorists in a blocking position in Pachhabang area of Rolpa district (Mid West) in continuation of Lisne operations. Two .303 rifles and a shotgun was recovered from the site. Terrorists Suffer Heavy Losses in the Battle of Gam, Rolpa. One hundred and fifty terrorists have been killed when thousands of the maoists terrorists attacked the SF base in the Gam village in Rolpa district (Mid West). SF suffered 35 dead and 20 wounded in the attack have been brought to the Army Hospital in Kathmandu. SF has launched a massive search in the area and further offensive operations are being carried out against the terrorists.

Terrorists Killed in Security Operations. Security forces (SF) killed 4 (Four) terrorists in Lekhwada area of Jumla district (Mid West) during its search operations on 7 May. Terrorists Attack on SF Base. A temporary base of SF composed of a platoon of RNA, and a platoon each of civil and armed police, in Gam village of Rolpa district in West Nepal, came under fierce attack by the Maoists terrorists at 11 pm on 7 May. The details of the incident are yet to be confirmed. Fresh troops are being inducted into the area.
LISNE ROLPA
Terrorists Suffer Heavy Losses in Rolpa. Security forces (SF) delivered a destructive blow to the terrorists' organisation in their stronghold in Rolpa district, mid-west Nepal. Terrorists used Lisne jungles as their base and training center. Lisne jungles are located in the southern high hills of Rolpa district bordering Pyuthan. The terrorists had concentrated there to plan, organise and carryout rehearsals of their future attacks against government targets. SF mobilised and put a cordon around the terrorists' base in the night of 2nd May. Next day, on 3rd May, a company of SF moved into the base after eliminating an early warning element of nearly 16 terrorists. The terrorists deployed on the ridgeline then engaged the SF. They used automatic weapons and there was heavy firefight for hours. The SF repulsed the first wave attack of nearly 200 terrorists. They were then attacked by nearly 700 terrorists in the area and the SF numbered only a hundred. The SF Company safely extricated itself to a stronger position and beat back repeated attacks of the Maoists. Attempts to reinforce the troops by air hindered due to inclement weather but the reinforcement linked up by Friday night. Reinforced SF troops went on the offensive next day and soon routed the terrorists. Mopping up operations are still going on. So far it is believed that the terrorists have suffered nearly 350 casualties compared to only four dead of the SF.

Terrorists Killed in Security Operations. Security forces (SF) killed 90(Ninety) terrorists in different parts of the country during its operations on 2 March, Thursday. SF killed 40 Maoists in their Training Camp at Khida Jungle, between Barchim and Ghagal, Dhoti. During separate encounters, SF Killed 50 Maoists in their hideout/shelter at Linse Lake Rolpa.
